Lengthening the forcing cone in a shotgun barrel will improve patterns and reduce felt recoil. Constructed of high speed steel with 8 left hand spiral flutes, these 12" reamers will cut 12 gauge forcing cones up to 3.1" long and 16, 20 and 410 bore up to 2.9" long. Features a 1/2" shank with 7/16" flats.
NOTE: All PTG Reamers and Cutting Tools are designed to work with petroleum-based lubricant. Water-based lubricant can give acceptable results, however the life of the tool will be reduced. For best results use petroleum-based lubricant.
