The PTG XLT floating reamer holder is for large reamers with a 3/4" (.750") shank. Like our Standard and Mighty Mite floating reamer holders, the XLT features an interchangeable boring head arbor system for straight shank / Morse Taper boring head arbors. This design allows you to utilize the same floating reamer holder with Straight Shank / CNC or with Morse Taper arbors for manual machines. The PTG XLT floating reamer holder has a 7/8"-20 TPI female thread for mounting arbors.
The reamer holder is designed for use with a flushing system (not required) and also allows for free movement of a floating reamer in 3 directions vertical, horizontal and angular, as required for proper performance of any floating reamer.
Pacific Tool and Gauge recommends 3/4" arbor and no larger than #5 Morse Taper, but we can customize upon request. Please call us at 541-826-5808
