Limited stock, call for stock levels! We are building these in the Remington Custom Shop to customer order. Some may be in stock, others may take 5-12 weeks.
Remington Model 700 - M24 type. PTG blueprinted bolt with handle. Comes with a recoil lug.
This kit contains the following items:
- 1 - Remington Custom Shop M24 Type LA Blueprinted Receiver
- 1 - RH 4140 PTG bolt, Blueprinted (.705 OD +/- .002) - Note, Non Fluted PTG bolts may come with a Remington style handle
- 1 - Recoil Lug
- * - Choice of Picatinny Rail
- * - Choice of Trigger
This combo is designed for off-the-shelf factory Remington rifles
- Raceway is opened using a PTG guided raceway reamer
- A PTG Remington Gen II receiver reamer is used to put I.D to proper diameter and to center line, true receiver lugs, and make receiver lugs and action face parallel.
- A PTG piloted tap mandrel is used to chase the threads making them more true to center line.
- A PTG bolt is fitted to the action, and the face of the bolt is trued while in the action.
