This Crowning Cutter features a precision-honed center bore for use with PTG Interchangeable Pilots (sold separately). A set screw positively retains the pilot during cutting operations. The male threads on the rear of the cutter are compatible with PTG Interchangeable Pilot Muzzle Crowning and Chamfering Tool Handle (sold separately).
NOTE: All PTG Reamers and Cutting Tools are designed to work with petroleum-based lubricant. Water-based lubricant can give acceptable results, however the life of the tool will be reduced. For best results use petroleum-based lubricant.
