More info

Back boring a shotgun means expanding the shotgun bore between the chamber and the choke.  This operation can result in less shot deformation, tighter and more regular groups, and reduced felt recoil.

PTG Back Bore Reamers feature a removable pilot for precise concentricity and repeatable results.

NOTE: All PTG Reamers and Cutting Tools are designed to work with petroleum-based lubricant. Water-based lubricant can give acceptable results, however the life of the tool will be reduced. For best results use petroleum-based lubricant.
