1. TiN Titanium Nitride - An extremely hard ceramic, can be used on steel, carbide, and aluminum tools and parts. General all-purpose tooling coating, provides an increased lifespan at a higher production rate than an uncoated tool can. Very popular standard tool coating globally.
2. TiCN Titanium Carbonitride – A hard coating with a low coefficient of friction thanks to its high lubricity characteristics. Useful for chemical resistance and high reliability in dry cutting operations.
3. TiAlN Titanium Aluminum Nitride – A hard coating that resists oxidation and heat very well. Specifically useful for high-wear applications.
4. AlTiN Aluminum Titanium Nitride – an extremely hard coating that is resistant to heat buildup, oxidation, and wear. Useful for hard-machining applications.
5. nACRo Nanocomposite Aluminum Chromium Nitride – Features resistance to abrasion, chemical, wear, and fuels. Used in extreme environments and metal contact applications.
6. nACo Nanocomposite Aluminum Titanium Nitride – High hardness and temperature resistance, also features resistance to abrasion, chemical, wear and fuels. Used in high wear environments and hard-machining applications. Provides triple the tool life of standard TiAlN coated tools.
