More info

The PTG AICS Detachable Magazine Bottom Metal for the Remington 700 long action replaces the factory bottom metal and allows the use of a magazine, With 3.775 length. This trigger guard is precision machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and features a durable black anodized finish. This detachable bottom metal is called "Military Style" as it was designed specifically with military personnel in mind. The dog ears for use with the 338 LM mag wrap around the dbm and act as an additional stop so that the magazine will not jam too far into the rifle. This DBM will only work with the 00100-0004 And 0100-0005 Magazines.

Available in the following combinations:

  • Without dog ears for 00100-0004 .300WM Mags
  • With dog ears for 00100-0005 .338LM Mags
  • Black anodized or bare aluminum finish

NOTE: This is designed as a drop-in for most BDL- style trigger guard inlets. However, due to variations in stock manufacturing, some minor inletting (can be done with sandpaper in most cases) may be required. Adding the dog ears to the DBM increases the modifications that are required.

Make sure of the proper application as all sales on PTG Bottom Metal are final, absolutely no returns. If you need inletting, we do offer that service for an additional charge. Please click here for more PTG inletting service information.
