Pictured with their guns and winning plaques are Sheron and Don Rabun, Hartshorn, who are Missouri State IBS champions for 600 and 1000 yards.
Thirty four shooters from seven states, Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Nebraska, Indiana, and Kansas, gathered at Midwest Benchrest, operated by Robert Ross and family, near Yukon on Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27 for the Missouri State 600 and 1000 yard IBS shooting contest.
Classes included light gun (under 17 lbs.), Heavy gun (no limit) and Factory gun (under 17 lbs.). Don Rabun, Hartshorn, was the winner of the 1000 yard IBS and was also 2 gun grand champion. Rabun would like to thank his gunsmith, Gerald Kuthy of Newcomers Town, Ohio, for building his gun.
Sheron Rabun was the 600 yard winner, factory class. She also was score winner, group winner, and overall winner.
