This kit is perfect for the home gunsmith, hobbyist & professional gunsmith looking to remove knobs on your existing bolt. The big difference is that this kit is designed to be used on a mill instead of a lathe! We suggest you purchase a boring bar with a minimum 1/4" shank & 2 1/2" OAL (not included in kit) to remove the unwanted bolt knob. You then used the supplied threading die to thread your handle to 5/16"-24.
